Most played Xbox Live Game 2012

Well, Halo 4 and Call of Duty Black Ops 2 both fought valiantly and hard, but the results are in, Black Ops 2 was 2012's most played game on Xbox Live.

When Halo 4 was released it dominated Xbox Live and was unoposed until Black Ops 2 was released, upon the release of Black Ops 2 Halo 4 got some competition but nothing to serious, Black Ops 2 had over half a million players, while Halo didn't have as many it was still very highly played, but in the last week or so of 2012 the players on Halo 4 dropped significantly, I would find myself struggling to find players in Big Team Infinity Slayer which was and still is Halo 4's most played mode. I thought there was a bug at first but it was confirmed the number of players had dropped, this was the oportunity Black Ops 2 wanted, it shoved Halo aside and shot into the lead ending 2012 in a shock. With new DLC released for both games more players are now online, I can't wait to see the results for this year later on.
